School Policies
The School Policy Templates Portal is used to develop local school policies for Victorian government schools. The portal provides templates that are able to be modified to suit our particular school context. Policies requiring community input and consultation are ratified through school council so that the policy is meaningful to our school setting. You can access our school policies via the links below. Policies are also available from the school office by request.
Schools Privacy Policy - The Department of Education (the department) values your privacy and is committed to protecting information that schools collect. All staff including contractors, service providers and volunteers of the department, and all Victorian government schools (schools), must comply with Victorian privacy law and this policy. This policy explains how Victorian government schools collect and manage personal and health information. Information for parents can be found at this link. This page explains to parents how and why school staff share information about students with other staff when it is necessary for them to be able to perform their role.

Ardeer South Primary School is committed to providing a child safe and child friendly environment, where students are safe and feel safe. We have a zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to protecting children from harm.

Preventing and Addressing Racism in Schools
Victorian government schools do not tolerate racism. Schools must share a link to the Preventing and Addressing Racism in Schools policy on their website and promote the reporting of racism. The policy is available in over 30 languages including English. The link has resources that support culturally safe and inclusive communication with staff, students, families and carers, including suggested newsletter and school website content, as well as translated versions of the policy:

Yard Duty and Supervision - For a copy of our school’s Yard Duty and Supervision Policy contact the school office. This policy includes Ardeer South Primary School’s student supervision arrangements across the school day, including before and after school.
